Such a flirt she walked backwards when she walks away,
Cut my teeth on the wake of her path,
I remember in frames cause the day went by fast.

Absolutes was the language she spoke from her stage,
Knew every townes song and she hummed them in bed,
Her favorite’s “Marie” said it wasn’t that sad.

There i stood this bewildered excuse of a man,
